The purpose of the Course:
To build on knowledge acquired in First Aid Level 1 and to enable learners who perform a task in the outdoors as this course has modules on snake & other animal bites as well as environmental casualties such as heat stroke and exposure to extreme cold.
Target Group: Candidates with a valid First Aid Level 1 certificate, field guides, tourist guides and employees working in the outdoors (construction, nature conservation etc).

- Bleeding
- Wounds
- The management of foreign objects
- Burn wounds
- Soft tissue management
- Eye and ear injuries
- Hand injuries
- Chest injuries
- Pelvic and Abdominal injuries
- Fractures and Joint injuries
- Head & Spinal injuries
- Rescue carries
6. Environmental casualties
- Drowning
- Heat and cold casualties
- Poisoning
- Bites & stings
7. Elementary applied anatomy and physiology
- Training: 50% theory & 50% practical
- Evaluation: 50% theory & 50% Practical
- Competency in CPR is compulsory

Certificate: ID Card and Certificate of Competence issued, valid for 3 years.
